Above photo shows the Left, Center and Right Nissan factory
rear tail light plastic and metal finishing panels for both the 2 seater
and 2+2 models sold in the US market from 1974 through 1978.
All 260Z models, including the earliest type with thin, 240Z style bumpers,
and all 280Z models came with one of the two types shown. The 2 seater
type is the one on the upper area of the photo and the 2+2 type displayed
in the lower area.
2+2
finishers differed in width, detailing and body screw attachment
hole locations on center metal piece. To my knowledge coupe and 2+2 model
finishers are not interchangeable due to these differences.
Tail light assemblies
and chrome trim bezels, not show in this photo, were are all identical
in size and fit on all 74-78 Z car models and will bolt up to either set
of rear tail light finishers shown above.
