New Super Low Geared "H" type Nissan Differential with 4.375 gear ratio.

Unit was found stored in a dry, but dusty attic along with many other new and used stock and racing application parts for early Datsun models, mostly for a Datsun 1200 racing project and 240Z models, that owner campaigned at Sears Point Raceway while he was the shop manager for the Bob Bonderant School of Performance Driving.

• Could be some Datsun's enthusiast's "big score" of the year to find such a unit for his vintage Datsun restoration or racing project.
• May swap into more than one older Datsun model sold in the late 60's to early 70's.
• From my inspection, this unit has never been used in a car. It is clean inside and out with NO rust on any inside areas or bearings. Outside is also super clean. It feels very tight. Orange color on ring gear is from setup paint applied to gears and not surface rust.
• Nissan carrier p/n is 38300-H0700. Ring gear is stamped 35x8 which calculates to a 1:4.375 gear ratio.
• To date I do not know what version of Nissan "H" differential (145, 155 or 165) this unit is. If someone can clue me, please send comments to sales@zparts.com
