1971 240Z in Lafayette, CA USA

Nicely maintained early 240Z owned by Jason Baskett and serviced by the Z Doctor of Richmond, CA.

Car has been repainted in it's original Nissan factory, #918 color code, the classic "orange of all oranges" sometimes referred to as "Mexican Orange". Amongst many long time 240Z enthusiats this color has been often mentioned as the color most symbolic of the spirit of the 240Z in the early 70s.

Car is in virtually stock, original condition with the exception of the Nissan optional, rear hatch louvers and the slot design mag wheels,

a wheel design that was actually sold by many Nissan dealers as a 240Z option due to the slot wheel design's strong popularity in the US during the early 1970s when the 240Z model was first introduced.

Per a request from the editors of Sports Z Magazine, I borrowed this car for a photo shoot to take a specific angle of view photo of the car. That photo was later featured on the front cover of Sports Z Magazine's Spring 2003 issue and inside to illustrate a featured article on 240Z electical wiring written by Joseph Demers.
