TOMAHAWK Z REBODY KIT INTRODUCTION

The Tomahawk Z rebody kit for the first generation Nissan Z car body first appeared for sale in 1995. Since it's design and introduction by Rory Bateman, owner of the American Indian Craftsman company, the Tomahawk design has been altered to fit 2 other Nissan Z body styles, the 280ZX and the first generation 300ZX.

According to Rory Bateman, 29 Tomahawk kits were sold world wide up to early 1999 when Rory's shop space property was sold and he was forced to curtail the the Tomahawk's production. Every since then Rory and his loyal customers have been searching for a suitable new space to again setup manufacturering operations. In June of 2001, it was reported to me that Rory had settled back into the Sacramento area and that he may now have a new shop space almost ready to move into.

Because my Z PARTS website seems to have become the the only site to showcase the Tomahawk kit, I am attempting to build a new website section devoted to displaying the many photos I have taken of the kit since 1998 and the modest kit history that I have managed to assemble so far.
