S30 2+2 Convertible Project - Related LINKS

Last Updated May 17, 2005

Composite comparison of Nissan factory illustrations of both the early 1974 260Z 2 seater coupe and 260Z 2+2 models with the thin, 240Z style bumpers. These illustrations have been scaled to match each other as best as possible. To my knowledge, the front of both models were identical in parts and size from base of windshield forward. Nissan changed the the windshield size a small amount and progressively added length in the doors and body section aft of doors. Centers of front wheels in two illustrations have been centered vertically so viewer can study where Nissan added extra length to it's 2+2 model body to add back seat. Note the changed drive shaft angle and spare wheel location as well. See larger view to study changes closer.
