| May 1, 2001 Preliminary photos of MH's 73 240Z showing extra large 17x8 wheels fitted comfortably under stock 240Z fenders. Coil over suspension set up and custom off set, 2 piece modular wheels used to make all fit properly. Turning up the brightness on your monitor may allow you to better see the edge of the Bridgstone Potenza ZR 245x40x17 tires mounted on the wheels and the comfortable clearance they have. Owner reports that he experiences no rubbing through out the suspension travel of this setup. Triple carb setup is a set of Weber 40's mounted to long runner Canon manifold. White gauges are the real thing sold through Motorsport Auto and not mere vinyl redo face plates. Red steering wheel cap is a Grant anti-theft system that allows steering wheel to be unlocked and removed with a key. Red cap locks over top of steering column splined shaft to prevent a thief from using vise grips or 2nd steering wheel to drive the car off. Car is still under construction. Overall body shot does not show the rims well due to improper lighting, but better shots will be taken later. |
