Notes on Used Dashes for sale:Note 1: Z cars produced from 1970 through 1978 frequently had very different wiring harness sub-section parts #'s stamped on white tags attached to the harness. Information about changes made from one PN # to the next are not easy to research, but in general, it is highly advised to only purchase and use wriing sub-sections that have the exact same PN # as is stamped on your car's original harness. Arrow pointer #2, in the above photo, shows the location of the part # tag for the dash sub-harness. Note 2: Although, production date and harness #'s listed above may not match your car's, all 240Z dash units should interchange on all 240Z models. Z PARTS prefers to sell dashes listed above to parties that are able to inspect and pick them up in person at the Z PARTS shop located 10 miles north of San Francisco, CA USA. (See direction map to ZP yard) Because careless handling and shipping can stress older dashes to the degree that hairline cracks may open up further it is not recommended to ship used 240Z dashes via usual carriers. July 2000 Note: Due to a recent success in shipping a dash to Texas an exception to the above "non-ship" condition above will be considered on a case by case basis if a buyer is willing to arrange and pre-pay shipping services through such places as Mail Boxes Etc. All dashes are being sold "as is" with no other warranties offered or implied. All sales are final. No returns allowed. These 240Z dashes have been stored in a dry, dark, cool storage room since the early 1990's. These are some of the best preserved used dashes for sale by ZP at this time. They are being offered for sale with the confidence that they are a reasonable bargain compared to that of new Nissan dashes that cost upwards of $800. Wiring harness part numbers listed above are meant to aide serious buyers to research whether these dashes will fit their particular production date 240Z model. The part of the wiring harness circled above in red and labeled #2 is the location of a Nissan white sticker that has a part number taped to it. Compare your harness part number with the one listed in the chart above to get an idea if one of the above dashes will fit your car.
