Parts Interchange Field Guides

A Nissan Parts Fiche Set shows every part Nissan produced for a specific Model Series such as Altima, 280ZX, PathFinder or 240SX, etc. Nissan used a different Model Series Code (ie S30, S130, Z31, etc) to distinguish major changes in a model line. For instance, the S30 model code included the 240Z, 260Z and 280Z cars produced from 1969 to 1978 for the US market. The S130 code encompassed 280ZX cars from 1979 to 1983 including the Turbo and 2+2 models. In the case of the 300ZX (Z31 & Z32) and several other Nissan models, there was more than one Model Series Code used. Knowing both your vehicle's VIN # and production date will help you to determine which Nissan Model Series Fiche set corresponds to it.
: The Nissan Fiche Set Inventory table below is sorted by Model year. To determine whether Z PARTS has a used or new fiche set in stock for your Nissan or older Datsun model, scroll down the "Nissan Model and Year" columns to the Datsun or Nissan model and year of your car, using the production date stamped on the driver's door jamb of your car in a month/year format, ie 11/72 as your guide.
: Because Nissan discontinued producing all parts fiche sets for it's dealerships in 1999, availability of new, "Final Production" sets has dried up. Z PARTS bought up most of Nissan's remaining Z Car Fiche sets in stock in 1999, but now my stock of new "Final" sets has shrunk only a few remaining sets. If you see a new set for your car in the table below, you would be wise to buy it ASAP because limited supply will increase prices as time goes on and once I sell off all new sets, I ZPARTS is not likely to have any more for sale later on.

Please Note: ALL SUBSCRIPTION AND FINAL S30 FICHE SETS FOR 240Z, 260Z & 280Z MODELS ARE SOLD OUT. However, the Parts Interchange Field Guides" that Z PARTS publishes for these early Z cars are excellent alternatives to having a fiche set for your car and well worth having to refer to when hunting for used and new parts for those cars. Subscription Fiche Sets

Subscription sets refer to updates released every 2-4 months to Nissan's dealerships during the model's productionrun period for purposes of keeping their parts departments informed about parts changes occuring at the factory for any production date car. Nissan dated these special Subscription fiche sets with a month/year label indicating up to what production date that set covered.
For a set to cover all the parts on your vehicle, a subscription fiche set must be dated up to or after your vehicle's production date. However, due to Nissan frequently producing upgraded parts that superceeded original parts and part #s on earlier years, an owner of a particula Nissan model would be wise to purchase as late a production date subscription fiche set as he can so as to be armed with the best parts information about his model & year as possible.
Unless otherwise noted all subscription sets should be understood to be in USED, but usable condition. Because subscription fiche were used frequently to look up parts information for popular models at dealership parts counters, some sets may appear more worn than others, but all will view fine on a fiche reader machine that has bright illumination and quality focusing optics. Many subscription sets that I have in stock appear to be like new a if they were seldom used.

FINAL release Fiche Sets

FINAL release fiche sets are sets publishedby Nissan after any particular model's production run has come to an end. These sets are the most complete parts record produced by Nissan for any model and hence, are considered the most complete parts information available on any discontinued model or year.
If new FINAL release sets are listed in the table above then they usually will be available for immediate sale.
Once inventory for any new FINAL set in stock reaches 5 or less, prices will increase on that FINAl set due to scarcity and demand.

Pricing

SUBSCRIPTION FICHE sets (used) are priced relative to the date range they cover within the overall production run dates of that model. Supply and demand influence pricing and prices listed below are subject to change without notice. Please always post ZPARTS for a price quote on any desired set before sending in payment.

The majority of subscription fiche sets in stock are priced as follows:
- Last 2 years of model's production run - $30.-$35.
- 3 years prior to last model year - $25.
- 4 or more years prior to last model year - $20.
- Discount pricing available for multi-set purchase over 3 sets.
FINAL sets (new stock) are priced at $50.00 each until final stock for a particular model drops to last 5 sets in stock. Prices for final 5 sets will be quoted on a per request basis.
Shipping - Add $1.00 per set. Per quote fore 2 or more sets.

Ordering

Match your car's model and production date to fiche set inventory table above to verify availability. Caution, inventory table is only updated every couple of months and may not be totally accurate.

After present stock is checked I will reply with a list of sets and dates that come closest to meeting your needs.
If you confirm that you wish to purchase a specific set, that set will be placed on a one week reserve for you pending receipt of your payment.
Payment may be made with check, USPS money order or direct fund transfer between PayPal accounts. If you wis to pay using a PayPal account please alert me and I will invoice you through my PayPal account. Important Note: Presently my PayPal account can not accept credit card payments so please do not attempt to pay through PayPal using a credit card. At present ZPARTS does not accept credit cards.
